Fifty years ago the concept of distance learning could not have been imagined. Even 20 years ago a distance learning class involved either DVDs or cassette tapes and was not exactly portable for most people who wanted to learn from home. Today's graduates who seek to learn how to make better trades can take advantage of modern technology and get the most out of their distance learning capabilities.

The idea of understanding and mastering better trades through distance learning has plenty of plusses. A graduate doesn't need to pack a suitcase, hop in a car and drive to some remote location, pay for a hotel room and meals in order to learn better trades.
