The DVD's can be mailed directly to your home and can be enjoyed anytime day or night. It is possible to watch DVD's on any television with a DVD player and on most personal computers. This in itself provides many choices for viewing. It is very easy to watch DVD distance learning material without disturbing others simply by wearing headphones plugged into the playback device. This gives the viewer great flexibility to study trading at any time day or night without the fear of disturbing others.

Although DVD distance learning offers many pros, there are some downsides associated with this option when compared to a live class. DVD's do not allow students to personally interact with their teachers or with other traders in the class, which for some can make the learning process less engaging. Additionally, students watching a DVD are not able to ask questions to clarify information if a concept is not clear. Because of these factors, DVD distance learning students are required to take more responsibility for their own learning. They must schedule their own time to study the material and must commit to working through difficult information until it is clear. However, even for those traders who strongly prefer to take live classes, there is no argument for the fact that DVD's provide an excellent supplement to any trader’s education.
