Traders Evolution

There is no specific timetable to which students adhere as far as their capabilities when they enroll in an education program. Their evolution as a trader, from novice to expert, will depend on the time they have to devote to learning the material, how much they can study and practice, and how quickly they're able to skillfully master the market techniques.

Newcomers should begin the trader's evolutionary process by attending a comprehensive workshop that covers all the basics needed to help anyone become adept enough to begin the learning process of becoming a skillful stock market trader. Students will want to discover stock market basics, learn how to use price charts for technical analysis, understand the basics of stocks and options, see how to buy the correction call option or put option, and take advantage of the basics.

An introductory workshop should contains more advanced information, such as stock splits, writing covered calls, selling naked puts, bull put spreads and bear call spreads, iron condors and butterflies, straddles and strangles, and trading the news. Many times a student can be easily overwhelmed at all the new information that flows out of the workshop, which is why it is important to review the materials over and over in order to fill in the gaps. It is estimated that students learning a new subject need to hear it at least five times in order to learn it properly. Any DVDs or CDs, if available, should be review repeatedly.

The trader's evolution can be accelerated through a mentoring process where they should hopefully be exposed to new material, have other principles explained and become familiar with the various instructors. This will help a student's skill level increase and they should begin to become more confident when it comes to trading the market.
