California, one of the largest states in the country, provides one of the largest secondary school systems. Although California has some of the most well respected private schools, it also boasts one of the best and largest state programs in the country.
The University of California system including schools like UC Berkeley, stand up to many of the countries well known private institutions. The UC system now boasts ten campuses at Berkeley, Davis, Irvine, Los Angeles, Merced, Riverside, San Diego, San Francisco, Santa Cruz, and Santa Barbara. In comparison the California State University has 23 campuses with almost 450,000 students taught by 47,000 faculty and staff. It is one of the largest and most diverse university systems in the country.
With the number of state accredited and non accredited institutions in California it is very easy for an individual to get a stock market education. Students can attend one of the many business schools or take individual specific classes at one of the many schools that provide some type of finance curriculum. For individuals interested in pursuing a career in finance or investments, they should research the many business programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
