Dartmouth University

Dartmouth College is a small, student-centered, undergraduate and graduate institution located in Hanover, N.H. It was established in 1769 and is one of nine colonial colleges founded before the American Revolution. It is the smallest member of the Ivy League.

Dartmouth is located in the rural Upper Valley region of New Hampshire and has approximately 5,500 students. Graduates of Dartmouth emerge having been fully equipped with a solid trading education and stock trading education. Those who finish their education at the Big Green can continue with a day trading education or trader education after they leave the school.

The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth is considered one of the top business schools in the country. The faculty is determined to help the school's students become leaders who can work in diverse environments and accomplish the most complex objectives. Here students can continue their trading education in a quality environment. The beauty of the campus and the supportive community can help further any day trading education or stock trading education.

Tuck offers only one degree, a fulltime MBA. There are additional executive education programs for undergraduates at Tuck, which was founded in 1900 by William Jewett Tucker, the president of Dartmouth, who recruited his college roommate, Edward Tuck, to help. Tuck established the Amos Tuck School of Administration and Finance in memory of his father. Many graduates of the school have since gone on to pursue a trader education.

Students who finish at Dartmouth receive extensive counseling sessions, resume review, career workshops, company briefings, recruiting trips and mentoring workshops. Some may choose to take extended stock trading education. The school is highly selective and basis entrance on transcripts, the GMAT, essays, recommendations, an interview and written applications. Those with a trading education may find it easier to gain entrance in the class limited to only 240 members.

Leaders of industry and finance often visit the Tuck School to speak and interface with students. Among the CEOs who have made the trip to Dartmouth recently include Shumeet Banerji (Booz and Company), Aris Chicles (ITT Corporation), Susan Ivey (Reynolds American) and William Seidman (former chairman of the FDIC).

Famous graduates of Dartmouth include former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Salmon P. Chase, Daniel Webster, former U.S. Treasury secretary Henry Paulson, and currently Treasury secretary Timothy Geithner. Noted children's author Dr. Seuss also attended Dartmouth.
