Columbia University

Columbia University is a private university located in the Morningside Heights neighborhood of Manhattan. Established in 1754 as King's College, Columbia is one of only three universities in the United States to be founded by royal charter. It was the fifth college established in the Thirteen Colonies and is a member of the prestigious Ivy League.

The school has produced 39 Nobel Prize winners and 90 Pulitzer Prize winners.
