North Carolina

North Carolina is a mid-Atlantic state that stretches from the Atlantic Ocean to the Great Smokey Mountains. From Kitty Hawk, the site of the Wright Brothers' historic first flight, to the technologically astute area of the Research Triangle, North Carolina offers a good place to learn more about any subject, including the stock market.

One of the original Thirteen Colonies, North Carolina has many well-known and established schools and universities. For those interested in the stock market, a North Carolina trader education comes complete with all the necessary ingredients to take profits in the market.

North Carolina contains three main geographic areas: the coastal plan, the Piedmont, and the Appalachian Mountains and foothills. The barrier islands, known as the Outer Banks, forms a barrier between the Atlantic Ocean and inland waterways. North Carolina trader training often takes place in these areas, Albermarle Sound in the north and Pamlico Sound in the south.

The state's total gross product is around $375 billion, a figure recounted many times during a North Carolina trader education. The state is known for its agricultural output of poultry and eggs, tobacco, hogs, milk, cattle, sweet potatoes and soybeans.

The state capital is in Raleigh, but the state's largest city and the banking and financial center is in Charlotte. Charlotte is home to Bank of America and Wachovia, as well as five Fortune 500 companies.

The Research Triangle Park is located between Raleigh and Durham and has been instrumental in the information and biotechnology industries. Kannapolis, about 30 miles south of Charlotte, has been established with hopes of enriching the Charlotte area in the same manner.

North Carolina has a slightly progressive tax, which is a topic of conversation at a North Carolina trading course. Most taxable sales or purchases are subject to state tax, too. A North Carolina trading education can give students knowledge of such facts, in addition to information on how to compete in the stock market.

You can often see North Carolina trader training offered at one of the major airports, like Charlotte/Douglas International in Charlotte, Raleigh-Durham International, Piedmont Triad International in Greensboro, or the Asheville Regional Airport.

As far as colleges and universities, North Carolina is led by Duke University, the University of North Carolina, North Carolina State University, Western Carolina University and Appalachian State University. Each is a good place to take stock market courses in an effort to further a trader's education.
